STRICTLY SUNDAYS 2011 |
We offer a variety of options on our Strictly Sundays, including intensive workshops on one dance and guest teacher workshops. Please see the schedule below for more information.
REGISTRATION:
We endeavour to keep the numbers of leaders and followers even. You do not need to have a partner to register, although if you book with a partner, you are more likely to get a place (please note - we change partners during the workshop). Places can only be guaranteed when booked in advance and confirmation is received - we cannot guarantee a place in the workshops when registering "on the door".

Viennese Waltz |
Beginner
12pm-1:30pm
£14 Members £18 Non-Members
In this level we will teach the natural Turn and the Closed Changes. This is good for all level dancers |
Intermediate
1:45pm-3pm
£14 Members £18 Non-Members
This level is for pupils with some experience. We go into detail over Natural and Reverse Turns plus forward and back closed Changes |
Advanced
3:15pm-4:30pm
£14 Members £18 Non-Members
This level is for experienced dancers. Here we will cover the Fleckerl. We recommend to book this class togeher with the Intermediate.
If you book two levels we will give you the second class for half price.

NOVEMBER 6th
Social Foxtrot / American Smooth
Rhythm or Social Foxtrot is the most useful dance in any social setting and the basis for the American Smoth. Perfect for busy dance floors and can be danced to different types of music from Frank Sinatra to contemporary and some disco. It is also perfect for wedding couples. |
Beginner
12pm-1:30pm

The beginners will learn the Basic and Promenade together with interesting figures to make it easy to navigate around a busy dance floor. |
Intermediate
1:45pm-3pm

The intermediate level is looking at rhythm changes and the first open figures turning this dance into the Amercan Smooth |
Advanced
3:15pm-4:30pm
£14 Members £18 Non-Members
The advanced class is for students who are experienced with Rhythm & Slow Foxtrot. It is this mix together with open figures in different holds that make it the full American Smooth inspired by the dancing of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
If you book two levels we will give you the second class for half price.
At this moment we only have spaces available for leaders in all levels, or if a follower signs up with a leader. |
